We removed it because he wanted to donate funds into my Papyal account. No, that’s not really what it is.
Basically, we’re doing this for free, and I’m the only person who bought Kourin no Machi: Lavender no Shoujo for the most part. Thus if we’re doing it for free, (though I paid for the game) why should we charge people when we’d be doing it at the same pace as we normally do? It’s not like we spent any money. (Unless we did buy it)
Right, ok I understand.
The idea was that a few other translation groups i.e. Commie, give people the option to donate, which I perceive as sort of a way of appreciation for their work or an incentive for progress.
After all, translators are literally the key for us English speakers to access great games like kourin no Machi.
Anyhow, it is very noble of you guys to refuse donations.
Makes Lavendar translations stand out a little bit more than the others. XD

While I have no prior experience with visual novel work, I would say proofreading is the task listed that I’m most experienced in. If you guys need some other tasks taken care of on top of that, I’m open for those as well.
